Recommendations for How to Share Your Faith in Brazil

While we are in Brazil we will probably have many opportunities to share. It is important that we are praying and seeking God's leading as we prepare to go. In my years of ministry I have found that one of the best ways to share the gospel is through our personal testimony. There is nothing more encouraging and moving than hearing how someone came to trust Christ as their Lord and Savior. While in Brazil we will be sharing with those who know Christ as Savior and those who do not know Christ. In either case the life changing message of Christ working in our lives challenges and encourages all who hear.

Enclosed is a testimony worksheet that will help you organize your testimony. I believe this is the greatest tool the believer possesses that can convey the saving power of Christ. Upon arrival in Chicago we will be working of our testimonies and practice sharing them through an interpreter.

bible studies/devotions

In Brazil we will be given opportunities to share more than our testimony. You need to come prepared with some type of devotional or Bible study that you can share when asked.

daily devotions

In Brazil our team will have daily times of prayer and devotion together. Each team member will be responsible for sharing with our group on their assigned morning. We will also be using this time for group sharing as well as prayer and praise.
